Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and support in a clinical setting. Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Prepare patients for X-rays and other diagnostic tests.
• Administer medications as directed by physicians and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
• Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health systems.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of medical equipment and examination rooms.
• Educate patients on medication administration, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to patients, particularly in geriatrics and medical-surgical settings.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Medical Assistant or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic life support (BLS) certification is required.
• Experience in a hospital setting or familiarity with operating room (OR) procedures is a plus.
• Proficiency in taking vital signs and understanding medication administration protocols.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
