We are looking for a compassionate and qualified individual to join our team as a Medical Assistant. The candidate will assist doctors with patient care and treatment of patients with urological conditions, including the routine maintenance of sterile equipment and monitored administration of medications. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to work independently as well as in groups. We have three locations which include West Warwick & Woonsocket. Travel will be required and a rotational Saturday is required.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with diagnostic testing.
• Stocking & cleaning all rooms in the office you are assigned to.
• Prepping for office procedures or injections.
• Assist nursing staff with patient care.
• Explain medical procedures to patients.
• Obtaining past medical history, weight, height and age.
• Rooming patients and working closely with the physicians.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
