Medical Assistant

Vitality Urgent Care is hiring a Medical Assistant for our fast paced urgent care clinic in Buffalo Grove. This is a clinical focused role working directly with providers to deliver efficient, high quality patient care for adults and children.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs
• Perform point of care testing including strep, flu, COVID, urinalysis
• Administer injections and assist with procedures
• Perform EKGs and support specimen collection including blood draws
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical workflow
• Document accurately and communicate clearly with patients

Requirements

• 1+ year Medical Assistant or clinical experience
• Experience with vitals, injections, EKGs, and point of care testing
• Phlebotomy preferred
• BLS or CPR certification or willingness to obtain
• Ability to work evenings and weekends
• Comfortable in a fast paced urgent care setting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
