Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately.
• Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration rate, and temperature to assist clinicians in assessment.
• Prepare patients for examinations or procedures by explaining processes and ensuring comfort.
• Manage electronic health records (EHR systems) efficiently by documenting patient information, ICD coding, and treatment plans with precision.
• Support physicians during procedures in various settings including outpatient clinics, hospital units, or surgical environments like the OR.
• Coordinate patient scheduling, follow-up appointments, and ensure timely communication of test results or treatment instructions.
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment adhering to infection control protocols.

Experience

• Prior experience working in dermatology clinics, hospital medicine units, or plastic surgery and aesthetics is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated proficiency with EHR systems and familiarity with medical terminology and physiology knowledge. male
• Background working with diverse patient populations including geriatrics, internal medicine patients, or those in medical-surgical units strengthens your qualifications.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; additional certifications related to emergency medicine or hospital experience are advantageous.
