Join our dynamic Allergy Practice as a Medical Assistant, where your enthusiasm and expertise will directly impact patient care. This is a part time position 2-3 days a week. Offices in Holmdel And Toms River. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive support to our physicians. Your proactive approach will help ensure seamless patient experiences, accurate medical documentation, and efficient clinical operations. Duties

• Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories, verifying insurance information, and updating electronic health record (EHR) systems accurately.
• Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiratory rate to monitor patient health status.
• Perform Pulmonary Function Test
• Perform Allergy Skin Testing
• Document clinical notes using ICD coding for diagnoses and procedures to ensure precise medical records.
• Support administrative functions like appointment scheduling and patient education.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in clinical settings.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology to support accurate patient care.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and ICD coding for documentation accuracy.
• Ability to perform clinical duties such as taking vital signs, assisting with medication administration.
• Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations including geriatrics and pediatric patients.
