Responsibilities

• Assist with patient intake processes by collecting medical histories, updating records, and verifying insurance information using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, including explaining processes and ensuring comfort throughout their visit.
• Manage medical documentation with precision for record-keeping purposes.
• Answering the phone
• Scheduling appointment
• Obtaining vitals
• Giving injections
• EKG
• Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of medical equipment.

Requirements

• Experience as a Medical Assistant
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and patient care
• Familiarity with EHR systems for documentation and scheduling.
• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
• Collect medical history
• Collect co-pays/balance and deductibles

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
