Medical Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant for a foot and ankle clinic. The position is full-time Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:30pm. The position is four 10 hour days, you will have a day off during each week, but your day off may change week to week. Travel will be required between different offices depending on the day of the week. Candidate must have previous medical office experience, be a team player, able to multi-task, and willing to learn. We do not offer medical/dental benefits, but do offer paid-time, paid major holidays, and a 401K program.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient examinations and procedures.
• Rooming patients, taking vital signs and medical histories.
• Coordinate care- ex: ordering MRIs, CT, labs
• Prior authorizations
• Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy in documentation.
• Sterilize instruments
• Other medical office tasks as needed
• Assist with performing X-rays (we train on this)

Requirements

• Proficient knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
• Experience working in a medical office setting
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while providing exceptional patient service.
• Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
