Medical Assistant

Medical Vascular Partners is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Assistant to join our growing private practice team. We are looking for someone professional, dependable, organized, and compassionate who can thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment and provide excellent patient care and support.

This position is ideal for an MA who is confident working independently, communicates well with patients and providers, and understands the workflow and expectations of a modern private medical practice.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain accurate vital signs
• Obtain and document patient histories and medication lists
• Assist physicians with clinic flow and patient care coordination
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms
• Send and track imaging, lab, and procedure orders
• Coordinate referrals, authorizations, and follow-up appointments
• Communicate with patients regarding scheduling, instructions, and results
• Assist with medical records and documentation
• Answer phones and assist with general front office/clinical tasks as needed
• Maintain professionalism, efficiency, and excellent patient service at all times

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Medical Assistant in a private practice or specialty clinic preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• EMR experience required
• Ability to work well with physicians, staff, and patients
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive
• Experience with vascular, surgical, radiology, cardiology, or specialty practices is a plus
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
