Medical Assistant

Busy dermatology office in Frisco is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant.

Well respected dermatologist and Physician Assistants are seeking a high energy, responsible, detail oriented person with at lease 2 years MA experience and 1 year in dermatology preferred. We currently use EMA medical records software and while it is not required the applicant have EMA experience it is preferred.

Job duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Rooming patients
• Collecting HPI into EMR
• Scribe for provider
• Help provider run on time
• RX refills
• Prepare room for surgeries and cosmetic procedures
• Numb patients for procedures
• Pull fillers and Botox as well as get recommended products ready for check out
• Schedule appointments as needed
• Schedule surgeries

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years as a Medical Assistant
• Knowledge of dermatology
• Knowledge of Insurances as collect deductibles at the time of service
• Positive personality and energy
• Self Started
• Motivated
• Computer savvy
• Exceptional phone skills
• Above average verbal and written skills
