Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Full-Time Medical Assistant to join our busy practice.

Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, and reliable Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support physicians, nurses, and other medical staff by performing a variety of clinical and administrative tasks to ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and prepare patients for examination
• Take and record vital signs, patient history, and chief complaints
• Assist with minor medical procedures and exams
• Administer medications and injections as directed by a physician
• Perform basic laboratory tests
• Maintain accurate patient records in the EHR system
• Schedule appointments, answer phones, and manage front desk duties as needed
• Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use
• Prior Authorizations

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
• BLS certification required (or willingness to obtain)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems a plus
