Medical Assistant

Responsible for assisting medical staff to facilitate a smooth flow of healthcare practices and clinic operations. Supports services provided to individuals receiving psychiatric treatment at Bay Arenac Behavioral Health to ensure a positive patient experience in the clinic. The Medical Assistant reports to the nursing manager.

Qualifications

Minimum of a high school diploma and credentialed as a Medical Assistant. CMA/AAMA or RMA credential required. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced office setting with multiple prescribers. Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with others is required. Experience working within a behavioral health office and knowledge of psychotropic medications is preferred, along with experience using electronic medical records and other common office technology. Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.82 - $22.58 per hour
