Medical Assistant Job Description

This is a general description of the Medical Assistant Job Duties. This is not an all-inclusive list and duties may be added and/or changed as needed to facilitate more effective and efficient office operations.

Patient Intake

Schedule surgeries and procedures

Accurate charting of notes

Assist with office procedures and injections, set up sterile trays.

Patient disability forms, FMLA paperwork and Return to Work forms.

Obtain prior authorization and schedule diagnostic tests.

Autoclave instruments.

Refill medications for patients as directed.

Assist other staff members as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
