Job Summary:
The Medical Assistant plays a vital role in supporting healthcare providers by performing both clinical and administrative duties. This position ensures efficient office operations while delivering high-quality patient care in a professional and compassionate manner.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare patients for examinations, including taking vital signs and documenting medical histories

Assist physicians and healthcare providers during exams and procedures

Administer injections, medications, and treatments as directed by the provider

Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens

Maintain and update patient medical records accurately and confidentially

Schedule patient appointments and manage front desk responsibilities as needed

Handle patient inquiries, phone calls, and follow-up communications

Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and prepared for patient visits

Comply with all healthcare regulations, policies, and safety standards
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred

Previous experience in a medical office or clinical setting preferred
