Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers in patient care, including taking vital signs and recording patient information.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems.
- Provide medical administrative support, such as scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and handling phone calls.
- Perform basic life support procedures in emergency situations.
- Ensure compliance with medical coding and billing procedures.
- Provide excellent patient service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent training.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Proficiency in performing patient care tasks, such as taking vital signs and administering medications.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems for maintaining accurate medical records.
- Basic life support certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional patient service.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
