Seeking a full certified medical assistant to assist with patient care during office hours. Duties involve working as part of a team along with physicians to coordinate patient care.

Required skills: Computer literate, EMR knowledgeable, personable, team player, vitals(EKG, Height, Weight, B/P), venipuncture.

Responsibilities:

Performs patient care under the physicians direct supervision

Duties include preparing patient for physician, administering and recording diagnostic laboratory test results, and assisting in coordinating organization of care

Ensures the medical record is accurate and up-to-date

Performs vital signs, screenings, and documentation

Collects and assists in collection of specimens

Conducts electrocardiograms and phlebotomy

Assists with special procedures and examinations

Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of examination rooms

Performs various clerical functions

Phlebotomy skills required

Medical Assistant Certification a must

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
