Description

Foot & Ankle Specialists of the Mid-Atlantic, A division of US Foot & Ankle Specialists, is seeking a dependable and patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our busy podiatry clinic. This role focuses on hands-on patient care and assisting with in-office procedures in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Schedule: Monday–Friday | Full-Time | No Nights or Weekends

Medical Assistant Essential Functions/Responsibilities (other Duties May Be Assigned)

  • Room patients, take vital signs, and update medical history
  • Assist providers with procedures, wound care, and post-op care
  • Perform digital X-rays and assist with podiatry treatments
  • Apply dressings and durable medical equipment (DME)
  • Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and sterilize instruments
  • Provide patient support and answer questions

Medical Assistant Required Skills And Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Completion of an MA program or 2+ years of clinical experience
  • CMA or RMA certification preferred (not required)
  • Strong communication, multitasking, and patient service skills
  • Comfortable using EMR systems and basic insurance processes
  • Team-oriented and flexible in a busy clinic environment
  • Technologically savvy; proficient in Microsoft 365 products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
