Medical Assistant

We are a quickly growing Family Medicine practice looking for a Medical Assistant to join our team! Our ideal candidate is someone that is outgoing, friendly, and a team player.

Medical Assistant responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Rooming patients
• Vital signs
• Performing Medicare Wellness Visits and Annual Wellness Visits
• Calling patients with test results and various messages from the physician
• Administering injections
• Performing nasal and throat swabs
• Submitting prior authorizations through CoverMyMeds

​Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• At least 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant
• Knowledge of referrals and insurance requirements
• Strong organizational skills
• Knowledge of how to use Athena a plus!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.50 per hour
