As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of this highly functioning medical office. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner. We are looking for a reliable, long-term and dedicated Medical Assistant.
We will offer training to start immediately.
Responsibilities
- Prepare examination rooms and prep for treatments.
- Engage with patients to obtain medical history and transcribe chief complaints into EMR.
- Assist provider during surgeries and cosmetic procedures such as botox, filler and laser treatments.
- Arrange, document , review biopsies and send to appropriate labs.
- Clean and stock patient rooms and organize samples/products/stock.
- Sterilize instruments and dispose of contaminated supplies in adherence to OSHA regulations.
Skills
- Some working experience as a medical assistant or medical secretary
- Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Social perceptiveness and service oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficiency in EMR and patient management software
