Role Description The Medical Assistant will support daily clinical and administrative operations in an on-site setting located in Miami, FL. This part-time role includes preparing exam rooms, taking vital signs, assisting with procedures, and supporting patient flow throughout the day. The Medical Assistant will help with patient intake, documenting medical histories, updating electronic medical records, and ensuring accurate and confidential handling of patient information, qssitinf in medical and aesthetic procedures. Additional responsibilities include scheduling appointments, coordinating follow-ups, managing supplies, and communicating clearly and compassionately with patients and team members. The role requires consistent adherence to clinical protocols, infection control standards, and practice policies.

Qualifications

• Clinical support skills in Medical Assisting and Patient Care, including vital signs, basic procedures, and patient preparation.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology to accurately understand and document clinical information.
• Experience in a Medical Office setting, including front desk support, appointment scheduling, and patient communication.
• Ability to manage and maintain Medical Records with attention to accuracy, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.
• Relevant certification or training as a Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA or equivalent) preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills, with a patient-centered approach.
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, assist with clinical procedures, and follow safety and infection control protocols.
• Prior experience in an outpatient or private practice environment is beneficial.
