Loudoun Medical Group (LMG), one of the largest and most diverse physician-owned, multi-specialty group practices in Northern Virginia, has an exciting employment opportunity for an experienced full-time certified medical assistant (MA) to join a growing medical practice at Physicians Premiere Concierge Medicine. We are looking for an individual with strong clinical skills, excellent communication, high emotional intelligence, and a service-oriented mindset.
Core Responsibilities:
Patient Experience & Concierge Support
- Serve as the primary clinical point of contact for assigned concierge patients
- Greet patients and ensure a warm, unhurried, private, and personalized visit experience
- Anticipate patient needs and assist with proactive follow-ups and wellness planning
- Provide prompt responses to patient messages, refill requests, and clinical questions
- Coordinate care with specialists, labs, imaging centers, and hospitals
- Assist with care navigation, referrals, and prior authorizations as needed
- Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism
Clinical Support
- Room patients, obtain detailed vitals, body composition, and clinical histories
- Perform point-of-care testing and specimen handling
- Administer injections and vaccines per protocol
- Perform venipuncture and phlebotomy for in-office laboratory testing
- Prepare and assist with minor procedures
- Assist physicians with wellness visits, annual physicals, obesity/metabolic care, and preventive services
- Maintain exam rooms and equipment to concierge-level cleanliness and readiness
Lab & Phlebotomy Duties
- Perform venipuncture and specimen collection using proper technique
- Process, label, store, and prepare specimens for lab pickup
- Maintain lab logs and tracking
- Monitor supply inventory for phlebotomy and lab materials
- Ensure compliance with CLIA and OSHA standards
Care Coordination & Administrative Support
- Manage patient follow-up workflows and recall schedules
- Assist with appointment scheduling and care planning
- Prepare patient charts for visits and ensure documentation completeness
- Support care gap closures and preventive screenings
- Assist with insurance coordination and billing workflows as needed
- Participate in concierge onboarding of new members
Quality, Compliance & Professionalism
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR
- Follow HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA, and practice protocols
- Participate in staff training, meetings, and quality improvement initiatives
Job Requirements:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent)
- Phlebotomy experience required
- 2+ years of clinical medical assisting experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced but highly personalized care environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and anticipate patient and provider needs
- Experience in primary care, concierge medicine, or specialty care preferred
