Medical Assistant/ Administrative Assistants Are Needed in Bronx

Job Summary
We are seeking energetic and compassionate Medical Assistants and Administrative Assistants to join our dynamic healthcare team in Revival Physical Therapy, 3319 Third avenue, Bronx, NY. This vital role combines clinical support with administrative duties to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations. Whether assisting with vital signs, or managing medical records, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional healthcare services across our outpatient clinics. Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and assist with patient intake processes, including collecting medical histories and verifying insurance eligibility & coverages.
  • Measure and record vital signs, such as blood pressure.
  • Maintain accurate documentation within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations
  • Manage administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, answering phone inquiries, and processing referrals.
  • Creating a welcoming and conducive environment for patients and staff members.
  • Updating health records.
  • Calling and scheduling follow-up appointments for patients.
  • Getting authorization from the Insurance for the patients.
  • Adhering to each Insurance carriers’ policies & procedures
  • Collecting co-pays and entering patients visits.
  • Opening of the office for business operation for the day.
  • Performing other administrative and responsibility duties related to the growth of the company.
  • Patient confidentiality is highly important.

Skills

  • Experience working in outpatient clinics
  • Proficiency with EHR systems and medical administrative support functions
  • Ability to perform vital signs measurement accurately.
  • Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient populations.
  • Certified Medical Assistant
