We’re growing—and we’re looking for a motivated, reliable Medical Assistant to join our outpatient behavioral health team.

Duties:
- Welcome patients and check off patients’ names upon arrival, ensuring a smooth check-in process
- Schedule patients and manage provider calendars
- Verify insurance and obtain accurate benefit breakdowns
- Process and apply patient payments
- Manage incoming calls and coordinate communication
- Maintain and review provider schedules and patient charts
- Communicate with insurance companies and pharmacies
- Assist with patient intake, interviews, and coordination of care
- Support overall clinic flow through strong time management and multitasking
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant (behavioral health or psychiatric experience preferred)
- Experience working in an outpatient medical setting
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in a structured environment
- Comfort working in a fast-paced setting with multiple priorities
- EMR experience required
- Knowledge of insurance verification and processes
- Spanish-speaking is a plus, but not required
Additional Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism
