Medical Assistant / Aesthetician Specialist

Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Assistant / Aesthetician Specialist who is passionate about aesthetics, patient care, and delivering an excellent client experience. The ideal candidate must be friendly, organized, hands-on, and comfortable assisting providers, preparing treatment rooms, supporting aesthetic procedures, and educating patients about treatments and post-care instructions.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for consultations and treatments.
• Assist providers during aesthetic and medical spa procedures.
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms before and after each appointment.
• Maintain proper sanitation, sterilization, and infection-control standards.
• Take before-and-after photos and properly document patient progress.
• Help with patient intake, consent forms, medical history, and treatment notes.
• Educate patients on pre-care and post-care instructions.
• Assist with body contouring, facial treatments, laser procedures, and skin care services depending on experience and licensing.
• Maintain inventory of products, supplies, and treatment materials.
• Support front desk and scheduling duties when needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming patient experience.
• Follow all company policies, HIPAA guidelines, and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a medical spa, dermatology office, plastic surgery office, or aesthetic clinic preferred.
• Medical Assistant certification, Aesthetician license, Laser Technician experience, or related aesthetic experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working with patients and explaining treatments.
• Knowledge of skincare, body treatments, lasers, or aesthetic procedures is a plus.
• Must be responsible, punctual, organized, and team-oriented.

Preferred Experience

Medical spa: 1 year preferred.

Aesthetician: 1 year preferred.

Laser or body contouring experience preferred.

EMR or patient charting experience preferred.

Sales or patient education experience is a plus.

Schedule

Monday to Friday availability preferred.

Saturday availability may be required.

Flexible schedule depending on clinic needs.
