Responsibilities and Duties

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Patient check in: confirming reason for patient visit, accurately taking and records vitals, reviewing medications
• Chart preparation prior to appointment
• Answering and/or returning patient phone calls, emails and messages
• Maintains a clean, functional environment including cleaning and disinfection of equipment, exam rooms, and storage areas. Disinfecting equipment per recommended guidelines.
• Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients. Cleans rooms after procedures and restocks supplies.
• Perform Prior Authorizations and appeals (Medications).
• Perform patient follow-up as directed by the physician.
• Flexible, Detail Oriented, Customer focus, Team working, Initiative, Problem solving, Organized, Self-motivated

Qualifications and Skills

Background in Neurology, Pediatrics, and/or Sleep Medicine is a plus. Prefer previous experience using eclinicalworks.

Required experience: average job tenure of at least 2 years at the same office.

Medical Assistant Certification.

Bilingual with Spanish a plus.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
