Medical Assistant (Bilingual – English/Spanish)

Job Summary

The Bilingual Medical Assistant will support providers in delivering efficient and effective patient care while ensuring a positive experience for both English- and Spanish-speaking patients.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, etc.)
• Document patient history and chief complaints accurately
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures
• Perform basic clinical tasks (injections, EKGs, specimen collection, etc.)
• Maintain and clean exam rooms between patients
• Communicate clearly with patients in both English and Spanish
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
• Verify patient information and update medical records
• Provide patient education and instructions as directed by provider
• Ensure compliance with clinic policies and HIPAA regulations

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant preferred
• Certification (CMA, RMA) preferred but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
