Medical Assistant (Bilingual) – Phlebotomy & Insurance Experience Required

Mederna Aesthetic and Primary Care is a growing, high-end clinic specializing in aesthetic medicine and primary care. We are looking for a skilled, motivated Medical Assistant to join our team and support both clinical and front office operations.

Responsibilities

Clinical Duties

• Perform phlebotomy / blood draws
• Assist providers during procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain cleanliness
• Manage patient flow and rooming

Administrative Duties

• Verify medical insurance eligibility and benefits
• Assist with prior authorizations and documentation
• Maintain accurate patient records (EMR experience preferred)
• Support scheduling and patient coordination

Patient Experience

• Provide excellent bilingual communication (English/Spanish)
• Educate patients on treatments and aftercare
• Ensure a high-end, professional patient experience

Qualifications

Required:

• Bilingual English / Spanish
• Experience with phlebotomy
• Experience with medical insurance verification
• Medical Assistant certification or equivalent experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred:

• Experience in med spa or aesthetic clinic
• Familiarity with injectables, laser, or skincare treatments
• EMR experience (PatientNow a plus)
