Medical Assistant- Cardiology/Electrophysiology

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting our medical staff and ensuring a high standard of patient care. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, patient service, and the ability to work effectively in clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for their appointments by taking vital signs and medical histories.
• Rooming patients, ECG, Vitals.
• Chart abstraction & making sure all pertinent labs & diagnostic test results are available for the clinician.
• Electronic prescription refills, and busy phone triage.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic environment.
• Facilitate effective communication between patients and healthcare providers to enhance patient service.

Requirements

• Prior medical office experience.
• Performing EKG's and Vitals a must.
• Proficient computer skills with knowledge of electronic medical records.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and organized.
• Ability to work as a member of a team.
• Current BLS.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Bi-Lingual is a plus, but not required.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
