PAY: up to $22/hr.

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Medical Assistant who is fluent in Creole to support our clinical and administrative operations. This role is essential in helping us communicate effectively with Creole-speaking patients and provide culturally competent care.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations, including taking vital signs and medical histories
• Assist physicians during procedures and examinations
• Provide interpretation and translation support for Creole-speaking patients
• Administer injections and medications as directed
• Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic health systems
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
• Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready
• Provide exceptional, culturally sensitive patient care

Qualifications

• Fluency in Creole is required
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or relevant healthcare certification preferred
• Previous experience in a clinical setting is an advantage
• Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
