Medical Assistant - ENT

Job Summary
We are seeking a Medical Assistant to support a specialty clinic focused on transformative patient care. This role requires in-clinic presence, with additional responsibilities handled remotely. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, experienced in assisting patients with multi-step care plans and procedures, with ENT experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients during in-clinic visits, including check-ins, vitals, and routine pre- and post-procedure assessments.
• Educate and support patients on clinic protocols, preparation requirements, and post-care instructions.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient communications, including phone calls, emails, and portal messages.
• Collect and verify patient information, ensuring accuracy and HIPAA compliance.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with documentation for multi-step procedures or treatments.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to coordinate care, track lab results, and manage authorizations or preparation requirements.
• Support remote administrative tasks, such as follow-up communications, reminders, and care coordination.
• Maintain a welcoming and organized environment in the clinic during on-site days.

Qualifications

• ENT experience preffered
• Previous experience as a medical assistant, preferably in a specialty clinic or procedural practice.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and patient care protocols.
• Compassionate and patient-focused, with the ability to support patients through complex care journeys.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; CMA or similar medical assistant certification preferred.
