Medical Assistant - EXPERIENCED in a Medical Office Setting

The Medical Clinic of Northville is a private practice Primary Care and Internal Medicine facility in downtown Northville providing a full spectrum of healthcare services for patients across their lifespan. We are seeking a Medical Assistant to add to our staff.

Requires:

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant
• ONLY MEDICAL ASSISTANT APPLICATIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED
• Must be Certified
• BLS preferred

Hours:

• Monday thru Friday 7:30 am - 6:00 pm (8 hour shifts within these hours)
• Saturdays 8:00 am - 1:30 pm (only 1 per month and allows 1 day off during the week)

Job Responsibilities:

• Complete patient intake including: medication reconciliation, screening forms, observe patient status, report changes and document accordingly
• Perform ear irrigation's, suture/staple removal, casting/splinting, taping
• Perform EKG's, Spirometry, Holter Monitor application
• Administer injections set by clinical protocols or by defined orders in the EMR
• Point of care and Rapid Testing
• Blood draw
• Clean, stock and organize patient care areas
• Front desk duties: scheduling appointments, check-in and check-out, and taking phone calls.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Medical Assistant: 1 year (Required)
