Job Title: Medical Assistant (Bilingual - English/Spanish)
Location: Dallas, TX
Pay: $17-$20/hour (depends on experience and skillset)
Job Type: Part-time, or Per Diem (PRN)

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist patients with warmth and professionalism
• Take vital signs, assist with exams and procedures
• Sucessfully perform phlebotomy
• Prepare and maintain accurate medical records using EMR
• Perform administrative duties (e.g., scheduling, phone calls, follow-ups)
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with clinic protocols
• Work independently and adapt to changing needs throughout the day
• Learn new processes and systems quickly, especially related to technology and EMR
• Interact with patients from all cultural backgrounds with kindness, respect, and empathy

Requirements:

• MUST BE CERTIFIED and EXPERIENCED IN PHLEBOTOMY (NO new Grads)
• Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and spoken)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Fast learner with strong ability to adapt to new technology
• Comfortable and experienced with electronic medical records (EMR)
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
• Flexible with schedule and willing to take on various tasks
• Comfortable working with individuals from diverse cultural and international backgrounds
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion and discretion
• Background check and professional references required

Preferred:

• Previous experience as a medical assistant or in a clinical setting
• Familiarity with multiple EMR platforms
