Responsibilities

• Assist with patient intake by collecting comprehensive medical histories and vital signs, ensuring accurate documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Manage patient flow efficiently by scheduling appointments, updating records, and coordinating follow-up care
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards
• Document medical information accurately using ICD coding and maintain detailed records of patient interactions and treatments
• Provide compassionate patient service by addressing questions, explaining procedures, and ensuring comfort throughout their visit
• Being able to work in a fast paced environment

Skills

• Proven experience in outpatient or inpatient settings with clinic experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to support diverse clinical tasks
• Hands-on experience with EHR systems for documentation and scheduling
• Familiarity with ICD coding for accurate diagnosis documentation
• Ability to perform intake assessments, vital signs measurement, and
• Knowledge of emergency medicine protocols is advantageous
• Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations including geriatrics and adults
• Ability to adapt quickly across multiple clinical environments while maintaining high standards of care
