Medical Assistant for Shelters

-AthenaHealth EMR experience preferred

-Dependable

-This positionis Full-Time

-Lives in or near the Silver Spring MD/Rockville area *preferred

-Must be competent taking vital signs, EKG's, and communicating with patients.

-Injections

- Blood draw

-Scheduling patient appointments

-Verifying insurance

-Checking in patients

-Bilingual a must (English/Spanish)

-Reliable transportation a must (this position may require travel between shelters)

-Experience with community outreach preferred
