Marone Dermatology is a fast-paced, growing Dermatology practice that is seeking a part-time Medical Assistants to assist the dermatologist with patient care. To be successful in this position, the medical assistant must be cheerful, and professional.

Administrative Duties:

Office Procedures, greeting patients in a courteous manner, answering multi-line phones, scheduling, scanning documents, uploading documents into EMR. Preparing and maintaining patient charts, processing payments, and help maintain a clean working environment. Assist with Quickbooks deposits and doctor's scribing and transcription as well.

Clinical Duties:

Work under the supervision of the Dermatologist, and will perform a variety of basic clinical preparations. Review health history with patients, prepare specimens for lab testing, prepare and assist with in-office minor surgical procedures.

Qualifications:

Cross- trained team members enjoy interacting with others. Skills require prioritizing tasks, and be a supportive team player as well as able to work independently. Must have strong interpersonal skills, basic knowledge of computers and EHRs. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks a plus. Previous medical experience helpful especically medical scribe, transcriptionist, phlebotomy, surgical assistant, pre-med experience or medical administrative experience are areas that complement our office. Formal medical assisting training preferred, though not required.

Pay: Negotiable: Based on Experience.

Hours of Operation: 8: 00 AM - 5:00 PM Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday (24 Hours Weekly).

Job Type: Part-time

Base Pay: $15.50 - $18.85 per hour
