Job Title: Bilingual Medical Assistant (Primary Care)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Bilingual Medical Assistant with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a primary care setting to join our growing healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and Spanish and dedicated to providing high-quality patient care while supporting providers in a fast-paced primary care environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints
• Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during examinations and procedures
• Administer injections, medications, and vaccines as directed by providers
• Perform basic clinical tasks such as EKGs, phlebotomy, and point-of-care testing
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Provide patient education and instructions in both English and Spanish
• Coordinate referrals, lab orders, and follow-up appointments
• Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and ensure proper infection control protocols
• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff to ensure efficient clinic flow

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a primary care setting
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems(Athena)
• Strong communication and patient service skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Skills:

• Phlebotomy and EKG experience
• Familiarity with preventive care and chronic disease management workflows

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
