Medical Assistant – Full-Time

We are looking to add an ambitious, team-oriented Full-Time Medical Assistant to our office. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, and passionate about providing excellent patient care while supporting providers and staff in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Demonstrating excellent knowledge of medical terminology

• Recording patients' vital signs and documenting physicians’ notes and changes in medical condition

• Familiarity with medications and proper pronunciation of medication names

• Monitoring and documenting patient symptoms for physicians’ review during clinical exams

• Preparing exam rooms for clinical procedures and assisting practitioners with patient care

• Assisting physicians during routine checkups, outpatient procedures, and other physical exams

• Collecting tissue and fluid samples and sending them for laboratory analysis

• Calling patients with results from testing or laboratory work

• Answering phone calls and taking messages from patients

Schedule:
This position includes one late evening per week assisting another team member with closing the clinic. This late shift is the same night each week and most evenings are completed by 6:00 PM.
