Medical Assistant - Full Time

Busy Podiatrist office looking for a Full Time Medical Assistant. Candidate will need to have excellent customer service skills, previous experience in the medical field with experience working with an electronic health record, and able to multi task. Will assist with all front desk duties including but not limited to checking in and checking out patients, scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, verifying insurances and providing patient education for insurances, faxing, receiving incoming referrals, collecting copays and patient balances, and any other tasks deemed necessary by the company.

Escorts patients to and from exam rooms o Records patient data prior to each physician visit o Obtains all necessary patient records as required by physician prior to treatment or procedures o Prepares and stocks exam/treatment rooms as needed o Assists physicians with exams and procedures as requested o Maintains all exam/treatment room disinfection protocols
