Medical Assistant (Full-Time) – Bilingual (English/Spanish)

We’re a growing primary care & med spa looking for a friendly, dependable Medical Assistant to join our team! If you enjoy working closely with patients, learning new skills, and being part of a supportive, upbeat environment, we’d love to meet you.

Our office offers a mix of primary care and aesthetic services (facials, Botox, PRP, weight loss treatments, and more), so every day is a little different and a great opportunity to expand your skills.

*If you are a phlebotomist and have experience with EMRs, Vital intakes, injecting patients, conducting EKGs, etc, you are encouraged to apply even if you do not have a MA Cert!*

*If you have a license in Nursing, MA, CNA, phlebotomist, and are licensed to draw labs and know how to take vitals and have at least some experience using EMRs, you are encouraged to apply! Medical Assistant is ideal, but we are open to seeing everyones resume!*

Schedule:
Tuesday – Saturday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (full-time, consistent hours)

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Welcoming patients and assisting with intake (vitals, medical history, etc.)
  • Preparing patients for exams and helping them feel comfortable throughout their visit
  • Assisting providers during procedures and being their right hand
  • Performing blood draws and administering injections (vitamins, weight loss, pain management, etc.)
  • Assisting with IV therapy when needed
  • Completing EKGs and coordinating lab work
  • Ordering labs and using proper ICD coding
  • Managing and completing I-693 immigration packets, including guiding patients on vaccines and required labs
  • Taking clear before-and-after photos for treatments (weight loss, Botox, PRP, etc.)
  • Preparing and applying numbing agents for patients prior to procedures
  • Using an EMR system for charting and patient documentation (experience with eClinicalWorks is a plus)
  • Communicating with pharmacies and handling medications appropriately
  • Keeping exam rooms clean, stocked, and organized
  • Managing medical supplies and maintaining a clean clinical environment
  • Properly handling and disposing of medical waste in compliance with health regulations, including preparing items for scheduled pickup
  • Ensuring lab specimens are securely placed in designated lockboxes for pickup
  • Assist with additional clinical and administrative tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For:

  • Fluent in English & Spanish
  • Active Florida Medical Assistant certification
  • Comfortable with phlebotomy and injections
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills
  • Organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn and grow with our team

Bonus (not required!):

  • Experience with IV therapy
  • Familiarity with I-693 forms
  • Experience with eClinicalWorks
  • Esthetician license or interest in aesthetics
  • Fluent in other languages!

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
