Medical Assistant Gap Year Opportunity

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated pre med/pre PA applicant with 1-2 Gap years between undergraduate and graduate school.

• One-on-one assignment with a dermatologist or plastic surgeon
• Responsible for inputting/obtaining patient data and transcribing visit details
• Assisting in various procedures including surgical excisions, biopsies, IPL treatments, Botox and fillers, etc
• Opportunities to learn interpreting of pathology results and to coordinate patient care
• Answering phones/scheduling appointments

Job Requirements:

• Minimum education: Bachelors degree
• Ease with computers and ipads
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to details
• Strong customer service skills
• Willingness/desire to learn clinical medicine on a steep learning curve
• Ability to take in and process information quickly
• Multitasking in a fast paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
