Medical Assistant II

DESCRIPTION

Responsible for facilitating the operation of a residential alcohol and drug addiction recovery program as well as serving the special needs of program participants and individuals involved with the criminal justice system, who are under the influence of alcohol or other drugs. Provide medical observation and social model recovery. Maintain a safe, cooperative, caring atmosphere.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent, basic knowledge and/or one+ years’ experience in the alcohol and drug addictions field. First Aid training is required, and a successful candidate must be certified as an EMT, CNA or CMA, licensed within the State of California. This is a great opportunity and experience for those seeking a career in the AOD, criminal justice and/or nursing field. If in recovery, an approved amount of time in continuous sobriety.

PAY: $24.81 – $27.90 DOE & Certification
