We are looking for a compassionate Medical Assistant II for our Baptist Metabolic Weight Loss Clinic located in Nocatee. This is a Full-Time opportunity working 2 days Downtown and 3 days at our Nocatee campus Monday-Friday from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.

The ideal candidate will perform duties, such as rooming patients, vitals, chart review and prep. Experience strongly preferred but new Medical Assistants are welcome to apply.

Medical Assistant II, Job Responsibilities:

• Provides medical assistance to physician
• Obtains vital signs
• Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
• Maintains medical documentation
• Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
• Processes prescription requests and referrals

Experience Requirements:

• 2+ years Patient Care Experience
• Experience in Physician's office

Education & Credential Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED Required
• Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Certified Medical Assistant Preferred
