Baptist Orthopedics is hiring a Medical Assistant II for our Walk-In clinic located in Fleming Island, FL. This is a Full-Time opportunity working four 10-hour shifts Monday-Thursday from 10:00AM-8:00PM.

The experienced candidate will perform clinical support such as rooming patients, preparing x-rays, and assisting the providers.

Medical Assistant II, Job Responsibilities:

• Provides medical assistance to physicians
• Obtains vital signs
• Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
• Maintains medical documentation
• Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
• Processes prescription requests and referrals

Experience Requirements:

• Over 5 years Patient Care Experience
• Experience in Physician's office

Education & Credential Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED Required
• Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Certified Medical Assistant Required
