Medical Assistant in Telehealth Dermatology

We are looking for a bright, passionate and dedicated individual to join our medical team in Fresno, CA

Tasks include but are not limited to:

- Greeting patients and describing the nature of the service we provide
- Rooming patients and verifying medical histories through a mobile app
- Taking high-quality digital images of patients' skin conditions using guidelines on clarity, lighting, distance, markings, angle, etc.
- Coordinate patient care with Direct Derm's Service Center and Medical Clinics
- Assist dermatologists in clinics

Ideal candidate would have a minimum of 2 years of experience. In addition, we are looking for candidates with:

Bilingual skills - English and Spanish
Computer savvy
Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
A self-starter who thrives on change and challenge
Detail and quality oriented
Candidate must be highly professional, personable and share our commitment to patient care and service
Must be willing to work weekends and travel to other office locations
Experience in Dermatology is a plus
- Must be extremely dependable and reliable
Compensation will depend on experience level.

-Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner

-Deliver medical results to patients under the guidance of a supervising dermatologist over the phone

-Identify customers’ needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions and/or alternatives

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
