Medical Assistant (Korean-speaking)

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Summary

We are a team of highly skilled vascular specialists dedicated to providing top-quality, patient-centered vascular care across multiple locations throughout Southern California. We are currently seeking a bilingual full-time medical assistant to support our expanding practice. This role will primarily be based in Montebello, with occasional travel required to our locations throughout Greater Los Angeles and San Bernardino County.

Responsibilities

• Schedule office visits, procedures, tests, and ultrasound labs
• Verify insurance, obtain authorizations, and collect co-pays
• Assist with patient check-in/check-out and maintain patient flow by communicating with physicians, clinic staff, and patients
• Answer and triage phone calls
• Register patients, update demographics, and manage charts in eClinicalWorks
• Scan and archive paper charts and imagesProvide administrative support to physicians and staff
• Assist with office-based procedures
• Maintain HIPAA compliance at all times

Requirements

• Must be bilingual in Korean
• Ability to commute to satellite offices in Koreatown, Buena Park, and/or Chino
• 2-3 years of Medical Assistant experience
