Job Title: Medical Assistant

Location: Bronxville, NY 10708

Shift: Day Shift – 5 days/week (08:00 AM – 05:00 PM, 7-hour shifts)

Duration: 15 Weeks Contract

Pay Rate: $25/hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to support both clinical and administrative functions in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare providers with patient care, ensure smooth clinical workflows, and maintain compliance with safety and infection control protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians and healthcare providers during examinations and procedures

• Prepare patients for exams and treatments

• Perform basic clinical duties such as taking vital signs and documenting patient information

• Maintain sterile techniques and assist with minor procedures

• Handle administrative tasks including scheduling, patient intake, and medical record management

• Ensure adherence to infection control and safety guidelines

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED (required)

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program (required)

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)

• Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA-CMA or AMT-RMA) (required)

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience (preferred)

• Knowledge of clinical procedures and sterile techniques (preferred)
