Medical Assistant / Medical Transcriptionist

Full time Medical Assistant needed for busy Gastroenterology practice in Lakeview area of Chicago with two locations:

3000 N. Halsted and 2845 N Sheridan Rd.

Duties include:

- rooming/interviewing patients

- transcription

- taking vitals

- EMR entry

- order entry

- rx prior authorizations

_radiology prior authorizations

- answering phones

- assisting nurse/doctors as required

- reviewing results with patients

- experienced GI medical assistant or physician preferred

Accurate documentation and advanced typing skills with language expertise is a must.

Pay commensurate with experience. Hourly salary negotiable.
