Medical Assistant OB/GYN, LPN or RN

Job Summary
We are currently seeking an MA, LPN or RN n to join our patient centered and compassionate healthcare team. This is a part-time position averaging 24-30 hours per week, M-F.

Duties

• Records a patient’s medical history, symptoms, and vitals.
• Updates patient charts and electronic health records (EHR).
• Performs medical tasks, including sample acquisition, blood draws and assists with in-office procedures.
• Schedules surgeries and obtains appropriate insurance authorizations for surgeries and other testing as required.
• Collaborates and works efficiently with office staff, nurses, doctors, and management in a supportive team setting.

Requirements

• MA, LPN or RN
• Valid current medical license
• CPR Certification or ability to obtain upon employment
• Knowledge of EHR, medical terminology
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work effectively while maintaining high standards of care
