Medical Assistant (Office Nurse)

Moundville Primary Care Associates is interviewing for a Full-Time Primary Care Medical Assistant position.

Applicants must be available to work:

Monday through Thursday: 8am - 5pm, Friday: 8am - 12pm

For consideration, applicants must have at least ONE year of experience in a Medical Office setting (Primary Care experience preferred):

• Checking-in Patients (Obtaining Vital Signs Manually)
• Phlebotomy (Blood Draw)
• Lab Testing (CLIA-Waived)
• Administering Injections/Vaccines
• Medical Terminology and Procedures
• HIPAA, OSHA, MIPS, CPR
• Medication Prior-Authorizations
• Answering a Busy Multi-Line Phone System/Voicemails, Faxing and Scanning

Experience with Systemedx electronic health records system preferred.

• Sterile (Surgical) Procedure Assistance (Sutures/I&D): 1 year (Preferred)
• Pharmacy/Insurance Prescription Prior Authorization: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Certified Medical Assistant Certificate (Preferred)
