Desired Location: Flushing, New York
Job Type: Contract (16 Weeks)
Shift: Day Shift – 5x7 Hours (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support clinical and administrative functions in an outpatient healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will assist providers with patient care, maintain clinical workflows, and ensure a high standard of patient service.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient examinations and procedures

• Perform basic clinical tasks including vital signs and patient preparation

• Support sterile techniques and minor procedures

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

• Prepare and clean exam rooms before and after patient visits

• Ensure proper handling and stocking of medical supplies and equipment

• Provide support with patient intake and coordination of care

• Follow all infection control and safety protocols

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED

• Completion of a formal Medical Assistant training program

• BLS Certification (required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA-CMA, AMT-RMA)

• 1+ year of experience as a Medical Assistant

• Experience with clinical procedures and sterile techniques
