The Palliative Care Medical Assistant works collaboratively with physicians, palliative care clinicians, and interdisciplinary team members to support comprehensive, patient-centered care for patients living with serious illness. This role blends front-office, administrative, care coordination, education, and patient advocacy responsibilities, ensuring smooth patient flow, continuity of care, and effective connection to internal and community-based resources. The Medical Assistant functions in a primarily front office setting, assisting with clinical support, care coordination, scheduling, authorizations, patient education about palliative care, and administrative tasks. The position reports to the Manager of Palliative Care.

Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.
Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area.
